Oltre all’opera di questo figlio adottivo della Napoli di fine ‘500 troverete anche opere a firma di Luca Giordano, Fabrizio Santafede e Battistello Caracciolo.

Il tesoro di San Gennaro è custodito all’interno del Duomo di Napoli. Visitare l’uno, non può escludere una visita all’altro. Qui potrete ammirare gioielli donati nel corso degli anni dai napoletani e dai devoti al santo patrono della nostra città in cambio di favori. Nato nel settecento il Chiostro monumentale di Santa Chiara è un plesso situato all’interno del complesso monacale intitolato all’omonima santa. Si trova a Piazza del Gesù e al suo
interno nasconde un vero e proprio gioiello architettonico, il chiostro delle monache caratterizzato dalle sue preziosissime rifiniture e dal fresco profumo degli aranci piantati al suo interno.
Esempio della stratificazione architettonica, il plesso permette ai turisti di ammirare anche alcuni resti delle fondamenta della “città antica”
